Privacy Policy
In effect from 12 October 2026
The short version. SenIQ keeps what it needs to run your account: your name, your email address, what you tell it you hold, and what you do in the app. It does not sell your data, show advertising or use advertising trackers. You can delete your account, and what is kept for it, from your profile page at any time.
1. What SenIQ keeps
- Your account. Your name and email address. Your password is kept only as a one-way hash, never as typed. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, SenIQ keeps the identifier, name, email address and picture link that service gives it, and never sees your password there.
- What you enter. Your holdings (the symbol, the quantity and the cost you give), the politicians and funds you follow, webhook addresses, saved strategies, paper deployments, and your settings (email choices, main market, time zone, plan).
- What you ask. Your questions to Ask and its answers, kept as conversations so you can return to them. A conversation not touched for 30 days is deleted.
- What SenIQ works out for you. Alerts, briefs and report cards about your holdings.
- Sessions. For each sign-in, a record with the browser type and the IP address it came from, so a session can be ended and misuse spotted. A session ends after 7 days without use, and at the latest 30 days after sign-in.
- Emails sent to you. A log of each email: your address, what kind it was, its subject and whether it was delivered.
- AI use. How many AI calls were made for your account and what they cost, so limits can be kept.
- API keys. Where API access is offered, a key is kept only as a one-way hash, with its name and when it was last used.
SenIQ does not ask for or keep bank details, card numbers, brokerage logins or government identity numbers. It is not connected to your broker: it knows only the holdings you type in.
2. Cookies and browser storage
- One cookie,
seniq_session, keeps you signed in. Scripts on the page cannot read it. SenIQ needs it to work. - Your browser's own storage holds a note that you have signed in on this browser and, where the Strategy Builder is available, your unsaved draft. Signing out clears both.
- There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
- The pages load fonts from Google Fonts and charting and animation scripts from the jsDelivr network. Those services receive your IP address and browser type when your browser fetches the files, as with any website you load from them.
3. What your data is used for
- To run SenIQ for you: to find the news, filings and disclosures about what you hold, score them, and show and alert you to them.
- To send the emails you have switched on, and the ones an account needs (confirming your address, resetting a password, a notice that your address is being changed). Each alert and report email has a link that turns that kind of email off.
- To keep the service secure and within its limits.
Your data is not sold, is not used for advertising, and is not used by us to train AI models.
4. Who else handles it
- AI model provider. When Ask answers a question, or a brief, an alert explanation or a report card is written by AI, the question and the account data needed for it (such as your holdings and the news about them) are sent to Anthropic's Claude models through an API gateway. That is sent to write the text you see, and for nothing else.
- Email delivery. Emails are sent through an email provider, which receives your address and the email's contents.
- Hosting. SenIQ's servers and database run on a cloud hosting provider.
- Google or GitHub, only if you choose to sign in with one of them.
- Error monitoring, where it is switched on: technical details of a failure, so it can be fixed.
- Market data and news sources. To fetch prices and news, SenIQ's servers ask data providers about the symbols its users hold. Those requests carry the symbol, not who holds it.
- Webhooks you set up. If you add a webhook, SenIQ sends your alerts to the address you gave.
- The law. We disclose data when the law requires it.
5. How long it is kept
- Your account and what you entered: until you delete the account.
- Ask conversations: 30 days after you last used them.
- A sign-up whose address is never confirmed is not usable, and is replaced if the address signs up again.
- When you delete your account, your holdings, alerts, briefs, conversations, follows, webhooks, strategies, paper deployments, API keys, sessions and the log of emails sent to you are removed at once. The count and cost of AI calls stays, with nothing that links it to you. Copies in backups go as the backups are replaced.
6. Your choices
- See and correct. Your profile page shows your name and address; you can change both there, and edit or remove any holding.
- Emails. Turn alert and report emails on or off in your profile, or with the link in any of them.
- Delete. "Delete Account" on your profile page removes the account and its data. It cannot be undone.
- Ask us. For a copy of your data, or anything else about it, write to us (below). If you are in India you also have the rights the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you, including to withdraw consent and to complain to the Data Protection Board.
7. Security
Passwords, sign-in links and API keys are stored as one-way hashes. Sessions can be ended from the server, and changing your password ends every other session. No system is perfectly secure: use a password you use nowhere else, and tell us if you think your account has been used by someone else.
8. Age
SenIQ is for adults. Do not use it if you are under 18.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change is significant we will tell signed-in users in the app or by email before it applies.
10. Contact
